Finally installed the 3TVs in my car. Last week I had most of the things done except the rear headrests TVs and the TV tuner and little nick nacks.

Richard Eager (WANNARUN) installed the rear headrest TVs. He installed the TVs in the headrests which are 6" Autocinema screens. I sent the Headrests to him and He sent them back installed. Did a pretty good job.

Here are all the pictures of it completed. Just wanted to post it here since not too many 5th gens have done this or thought it could be done.

Looks good, did you install it yourself? if so, was it incredibly hard?
I'm thinking of doing something similar to that.

I did everything myself except the headrest cutting. They were sent out and installed in the headrests and then mailed back to me to finish the rest of the install from there.

Install was not incredibly hard, just time consuming and patience. It took alot of patience. I had to do alot of wiring and there is a RACK of wires and 2 control units under my drivers seat.

Looks pretty good Dixit What kind of security do you have to make sure them LCD's stay in place?

Btw, where'd you get the dash trim for the mobile system? Looks very much like OEM. Is it the Scosche kit?

Thanks.

I prefer not to say anything about the alarm system. I like to keep that a secret just cause I trust no one.

The kit is a Scosche kit that I got from sounddomain.com for $10.

That was the lakers vs miami game on NBC at 6pm I believe. The DVD player is underneath the Screen unit, which by the way has Meet the Parents which has been played 5times in one week since the install last week.

The tint is 20% Graphite tint. Very dark to all standards. You cannot see inside at all unless the sun hits the car at a good angle. Not to mention that my windshield is also tinted.

Yes, you can connect two more items via standard rca cables.

Well when I go to NYC next week, I will be sure to pop this in and let the drivers around me be in amazment or complete anger.

Took me 2days. If I took a picture of what is under my drivers seat, you would either laugh or be wondering "How the F@#@ did he jam it all under there?" BTW, yeah I know I cant use the floor heater down there anymore since it is blocked by everything down there.

Many people have wondered and asked this. Even on the Acura TL/CL forums. But the problem remain of how do you get audio from your source? You would have to transfer that via a FM modulator, which i hate.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahhahhhhhhhhhhhhhhaahahhhhhhhhh hhhhhahahaaaaaaaaaahahah

Son of a......... All this time I thought for some reason you meant the freagin wires.

Yeah the trees took me like 30mins to figure out where to put them. Everytime I just hung them on the coat rack hanger, it kept falling off when I would open a window. So I actually "wired" the elastic like three times around the bastard to make sure it wont come off again.

I wouldnt need Audio on my headrest screens.. I get the audio feed from the Navithrough the bose. The Navi audio is setup to talk to me through the stock speakers....All I would need is the video ! So the scrubs in the back can see where Im taking them to dump them !

Yeah but you still need an audio feed from say a PS2 or an Xbox or DVD player if that is what you were going to hookup to the Navi unit.

Your headrests seem wider than mine. I don't know if I can get anything larger than a 4" screen in mine. I could be wrong. I'll be checking into this soon. IRS money is on the way

On a sidenote:
Kloogy, your webpage is down & I need to show a friend your exhaust man!

Later,
