TVs in visor

Anyone know the process of putting tvs in the visors of the maxima. Do you have to get a whole new visor because of the mirror and light, or can you have it put in the factory visor. Thanks. White 2002 SE.

Re: TVs in visor

I've seen the following:

1) Stand-alone LCD with visor mount kit - so you can do it all yourself with your existing visor.
2) LCD with visor - replaces your existing visor
3) LCD with visor, mirror, & light - replaces your existing visor

I don't know how well those replacement visor items would fit with the Maxima, so you might be better off with the stand-alone kits and work them into your existing visor(s) by removing the mirror/light setup.

Peace.

You have to waste a lot of time carefully cutting & gutting them. It depends on the type of monitor you buy. Bottom line: It's a PAIN to cut your visors & install them yourself.

If you have a 5th gen & your visors are the same as mine: GREY with the Homelink buttons, I can sell you my pair. I've never really used them, cause I never hooked up the DVD changer.
