I talked to a guy who just bought the 2001 Maxima Service Manual CD off of ebay and he said

"I totally regret this purchase.
It is NOT the 2001 Nissan Maxima Electronic Service
Manual (ESM) that is occasionally offered on eBay.
The ESM is what you want. The item I won is just
'service information' with very obsure references."

I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can download the cd or where I can get it for a better price.

As far as I know, there was only one eBay seller that was dealing the 'service information' CD which is rather useless. Usually the rest of the sellers are okay.

I have the 2002 Maxima and 2002 Sentra ESMs, and I got them from eBay. These are great. I'm looking for the 2001 Maxima ESM myself too.

 

I got a copy of the 2K1 Maxima Factory Service Manual. It's a bunch of PDF files. PM me if you're interested.
