Wow this guy has to be the dumbest person I've heard on this forum yet. The only 4-door car that I could think of off the top of my head that's running twelves NA is The BMW M5 S3DINAN. I believe it ran the 1/4 mile in 12.4 seconds. Now I want to know how that dumbass figures how to get at least 400 NA horsepower out of his 2k2 Maxima.

Any moderator can ban someone...always have been able.

Tim, Ethan, and I just don't use it very often. However, a troll looking for trouble in his first few posts is a pet peeve of mine.

Rider,if you want more speed and power, then why did you get
an automatic? that was YOUR first mistake. The second was talking a
whole load of s**t when you first logged on. Are you F**king retarded?!
Do you actually expect help from anyone now? I hope anything that can
go wrong with a max, happens to yours. When it does, have fun
figuring it out.

Nope, the 2k3 M5 does 0-60 in 4.9 and the 1/4 in 13.4 according to www.car-stats.com The fastest year for the M5 did the 1/4 in 13.1

I still don't know of any Sedans in the 12's!

Regular Corvette is 13.1
Corvette Z06 is 12.8
Viper SRT 12.1
Subaru WRX 14.1
Subaru WRX Sti 13.2
Mitsubishi Evolution 13.6
Acura NSX 13.4

This newbie is a dumb*** if he thinks 12's are possible with just some bolt ons. Even the elite group of cars listed here only 2 made it into 12's and the corvette Z06 barely made it in. These are high performance sports cars. What on gods green earth would posses you to think a $25,000 family sedan could put up the same numbers as a full out sports car?

There is a maxima running 11s, only one. It ain't no 3.5 either. In a real world you won't see many FWD's doing it, traction is the issue. there will be a few 2k2+s in the 12s, with some and some slicks. SR20 is and Blu will be.

Mercades has a few 4 door cars running 12s. The newest E55 AMG will do a 12.4 or so stock, maybe slightly higher. I've watched a video of an S600 run a high 12, and it weighs like 1000+ pounds more than the E55. They are so fast in stock form its nothing short of amazing. I cant imagine what a smaller pulley would do for that car.

On a side note I have to say 12's NA in a 2002 maxima are possible, just pretty damn hard. The one thing that comes to mind is "weight reductions", the sky is the limit with these. As far as power adders go, Nismo cams (yes there comming out in a few weeks), my mods, UR UDP set (there comming out soon too), aluminum flywheel (soon also) Headers (some day, lol) slicks and ahh, one crazy driver That spells 12.9 to me.

If we could come up with a high flow manifold, true headers, a better ECU, and a nice set of 4 cams, believe me the 6 speeds would be there !

The headers and cams alone with a AFC-II of a Emanage should be able to give you enough traction issues til 3rd gear is in play, yeah slicks and the flywheel definetly 12's. Im just thinking the autos are gonna be running faster then the 6spds due to the shorter gears in the 6spd.

If it's an auto don't forget that a stall would help a ton.

I was reffering to a Modded M5 w/all the Dinan Bolt-ons(Exhaust, intake, headers, etc.) Car and Driver had it tested out, I definitely am Positive that it ran the quarter in 12.4 seconds

Yeah but the Mercedes you mentioned are not NA they are running boost. Remember how this post started, Rider wanted to know if he can get his Max doing twelves w/out any S/C, T/C, Nos or anything like that.
