Dealer selling new cars w/mods

I was at my local Nissan dealer yesterday for service. while there, I noticed they had a brand new 350Z and Altima which had been modified for sale on their showroom floor. Both cars had Stillen products, aero kits, exhaust, intakes and aftermarket wheels. The Altima also had a Trenz grill. I asked the dealer where the modded Maxima was and he told me it had already been sold. So much for mods voiding the warranty. FYI - the 350Z was going for around $40,000 and the Altima around $32,000.

Yeah the dealerships around here have that too.... If you look at the sticker they do the the breakdown. Most of the mods though are all show. Like I remember seeign the Trenz grill on their stick go for like $800!! And these are like only $200 in stores. The dealers do that to rip on the unsuspecting

I had my dealer ask me where I got my Trenz grill from...I thought he was gonna try and blame it on something but I was surprised when he said he liked it and wanted to know where to order them from so they could start stocking them...

speakin of dealer warrenty... what actually voids it? I've installed an intake and took it to the dealer and they didn't question it. Would they question a c-f hood? As for exhaust i'm almost sure they would but just wanna verify.. THanx!

As soon as you drive it off the lot the dealer says "Oh, by the way your warantee is void..sucka!"

Nissan will stand behind Stillen products. Stillen aftermarket products will not void your warranty. Some Dealers even sell Stillen products.

So they'll warranty my motor and tranny if I blow them with my Stillen Supercharger

I bet they will only stick by products that they install. After all, they are trying to make money.

Yeah, I saw that at a Mazda dealer once. They had this modded Protege that kind of looked like the Mazdaspeed. So I look at the car from the back, and I see altezzas. I got confused because I didn't think the Mazdaspeed had altezzas (it doesn't), and jsut before leaving the dealer, i see their catalog, and realized that they modded cars.

That's not true...please don't say that. A few dealerships may allow you to get through warranty work with mods, but MOST won't. I know for a fact that MINE will not and all I have are Stillen mods.
