Im not doing any engine mods just yet. mainly im working on appearance. In this category his is not stock. He hasnt overdone it. thats what I like about it. Looks very sophisticated and expensive

grill was a pain..... lowering consisted of Maxspeed springs/KYB GR-2 struts... ride is great.... handling is even better...

Also, did you follow some kind of guide for your grill? I wouldnt know where to start

the whole setup installed w/ alignment ran me close to $800...

the grill I used common sense for...the instructions included sucked..

 

I paid $112 for my Maxspeed springs. Left the stock struts and did the install with a buddy. I am sure that people on here will help you out depending on your area.

 

Im pretty short-handed on tools and supplies, im curious to what is involved in adding a set of springs. I know id need some jackstands, a spring compressor, and a rachet or two. what else is involved and is there a guide anywhere?

 

that's basically all u need... it's pretty straightforward... just be sure to remember how everything goes back together...

 

was there any camber kit needed or is it already setup right?

also your price is expensive for some spring installs.. that sounds like you added in labor prices.

i want to lower mine and throw on some 18s or 19s.. the lower the better for me.

what is the best or lowest spring to go with for some 19s?

 

I can't believe I have to take krapp about my gen 6 grille and you did that on purpose. Is it just the angle from which the picture was taken?

 

If you do the install for springs yourself, how do you know how much of a drop you're getting before installing? Or do you have to keep on puting it on and off to check height????

my mechanic installed mine...I went by the specs posted here to gauge my drop expectancy....
