Driver window auto reverses

Driver window auto reverses
My new Max is acting up. I'm at 1,600 miles and all of a sudden my driver side window won't stay closed. It auto reverses part of the way back down after completely closing--only does this when using the auto-up feature. As of 1pm today it does this consistently. If I close the window by lightly lifting the button, but not clicking into auto-up, then it raises and stays closed. I did a search and see that several gen5 owners have reported this behavior but no one reports a remedy. Several owners are "just living with it". There is no obstruction... the reverse mechanism works normaly if I obstruct the window on its way up. And the window does not reverse if I use manual up.
Does anyone know the correct/safe way to do the reset I saw referred to in other posts? I hope I can fix this one myself and avoid the dings and driving abuse that I have personally witnessed at my local Nissan dealer.
