I have a 02 Max GLE with the power seats.
The drivers seat no longer goes forward or back.
I believe there is a TSB out for it somewhere.
What does the fix involve? Would they dealer have to replace the seat motors? Anyone else have this problem?

 

if its still under warranty, just take it to hte dealer

 

It is still under warranty. I plan to go to the dealer. Just wanted to know if anyone else had the problem so I can address it when I take the car in. The dealership will do anything to make you pay for repairs even if they are under warranty.

i have similar problem. I have 2k GLE my driver side seat doesn't recline back but it does fold forward.

 

my drivers seat wouldnt go foward or backward either. I went to the dealer. They had to replace the motor under warranty.

 

 

Yes.... i sympathize with you. i was conditioning the leather seats in my max when i went to put the driver side seat foward and it would not respond. It kinda ****ed me off.. the reason i bought a new car was so i wouldnt have these problems.. I hate going to the dealer, they are a bunch of jerks..
