UDP dyno

has any 5th gen done a dyno on the udp??? or at least which pulley would be the best to go with?? i have heard people claim they dont feel anything with this mod? could it be possible that it gives more power to the 3.0L's rather than the 3.5's(sort of like the ypipe)?

The UDP is a good mod for the 2k-2k1 and it appears to be good for the 2k2 as well. One of the 2k2 max owners dynoed with a UDP and got around
10 ft/lbs of torque increase and around 8hp increase. Both increases were at the wheels. The gains are felt more with manual transmissions
and are not as good with autos.

dont bother with mods if your an auto as most mods will yeild less hp than a manual. (SOme of the hp you gain will be lost in the tranny)

with a upd the peak gains are minimal but you gain tq and hp throughout the powerband.

unless you boost bolt-on mods are not going to yield big gains.

vb will make you a little quicker between gears but will not make you faster during the gears (or gain you HP), but a good mod for autos
