koni shocks/struts

Anyone try these out? I saw them selling them on TireRack for my 2001SE and since I can't seem to locate a front left strut (kyb has them backordered) I'm looking at alternatives, and I don't want tokico's.

These are also going to be put on with Eibach prokit springs if that matters.

Just llooking for some feedback from anyone who has them or knows about Koni shocks cuz I dont know much about em.

I don't think they have Koni's made for the 5thgen's unless you modify them to fit just like the KYB's... Did you try calling Cattman? He supposed to have a big inventory of KYB's in stock..

The Koni shocks are adjustable. The fronts are external and can be adjusted on car. The rears have to be adjusted off car.

The rears are a direct fitment but the fronts are an insert. You have to cut off the top of the original shock housing, drill a hole in the bottom, file off a tab on the inside, insert the koni insert, and bolt down through the hole you drilled in the bottom. It's a little bit of work but they were designed for the A33. Unless a direct fitment AGX comes out, i'll be buying these in September.

KYB's???

So, are these on Backorder at TIRErack too???

Has anybody priced the TOK Blues lately?? Not even sure how they compare in price....and who's selling them?

I want to go cheaper with OEM fits, but I'm not interested in waiting three months for KYB to restock.

The KONI's are almost $600 shipped, and then you have to re-fit.

AGX's are looking better - but I here the KONI's ARE da BOMB!!

Hmmmm.....can somebody give me some input on the is KYB backorder issue??

Muchicimas Gracias!

I also hear that the Koni's are sweet but to adjust the rears you have to take them off the car...not cool.

Cattman has AGX's in stock, check the group deal section.
