How many foot-pounds torque for FSTB

I did a search and I saw a couple of them say 35 foot-pounds and the others say 50...

Is there a big difference? I am going to install my stillen FSTB today and I want to tighten the strut tower bolts to the right foot-pounds...

What's the appropriate foot-pound torque those things require?

Thanks.

IIRC, 34 minimum. I'd go 40 max if you really want to push it. Overtightening it might cause problems later on.

Just my 2c.

I've heard 35 whenever these threads come up. On my BOMz FSTB, the metal plates at the end started bending at 30, so I quit at 32 ft/lbs. They haven't come loose in 5k miles.

Depends on the FSTB, but the general rule of thumb is 30-35 ft-lbs.

I set my wrench at 38 ft-lbs to tighten my custommaxima fstb. Didn't come with numbers but I know the Stillen recommends a pretty wide range. I think something like 43-58. Past 50 is insane.
