I don't get it... eBay blocks people from selling fake TAG/Heuer watches and "for your Emmy consideration" video tapes but permits the sale of "used" 2003 HID units and ESM of unknown origin.

I don't have broadband and I don't use my employers network for personal downloads. I assume that the $19 ESMs on eBay are illegal CD-R copies otherwise why would anyone ever pay Nissan $275? I know, it's obvious bu has anyone ever admitted bought one of these?

On the other hand, what's with Nissan charging $275 for something that every other car manufacturer sells for $80-->$120?

 

Selling used HID's is perfectly legal.

Selling 19 dollar ESM's however, I believe is not, Its all about the wording....
