Hi all,

Car: 2000 max se

i noticed that when i startup the car or occassionally, i only get exhaust out of one muffler (the one on the right). is this normal? or should i look into it.

i am thinking that the second one kicks in at higher rpms or something like that.

let me know if u guys ever noticed that and if it is a serious problem worht looking into.

i notice no probs with the car.

You are kidding me right?!

5th gen Maxima is equiped with a "variable flow muffler" (Like one's on the Skyline GTR) so only one opening works during low RPM. Both opens up when you are in high RPM.

i thought as much but jus wanted to reconfirm. i did the searches, but i guess this is something that everyone knows and thereforre was never discussed

i had a 93 MAX before and i have my "new" 2000 se only 2 weeks now, so i have been inspecting everything very carefully.

only thing other than that that i noticed was the CRAPPY paint job.
