Adjusting Odometer

Hi. I have just picked up a new cluster 'cause i had a speedometer problem. My question is, does anyone know if I can adjust the odometer to my correct mileage? Any shops offering this type of service? Thanks in advance.

You'll most likely have to have it done by a dealership.

Talk to Dave B... he can have it done for $35... he sends it in to be re-calibrated to whatever mileage you need.

You may be able to switch out the circuit board from the old gauges with the new ones. That holds the correct mileage. You have to check though, some circuit boards are soldered on, others are just held with screws.

Just keep the gauge cluster like that.. THat way when you sell your car you can put back the old cluster and rollback the miles

I have like 3 clusters sitting in my room

I saw a report on people reselling their cars after rolling back the miles. I would sell mine with 2k miles on it.

I go out looking for 2K3 Sterling Mist cars and see what I can take. I think I'm gonna go out and look for some carbon fiber pillars.. I know there's a car somewhere near me with one. I wonder who's got it

You should not need to recalibrate it, on the board here someone wrote up a excellent how to on removing the circuit board and swapping them out so that you still show the correct mileage.
I remember this memeber did this because he went from a GXE to a SE cluster and wanted to maintain the same mileage.
