Corner lights

Has anyone tried just using the stock bulbs when changing out
the lens (corners) on 00-03 maxima. They should be just clear
bulbs right (that what dealership side)

How will these look if I just keep these in or should I change
bulbs. I'm changing out fogs to piaa extreme whites

They will look kinda yellow and not that good IMO. The rears usually ship with red bulbs and you can buy orange 194 wedge bulbs at AutoZone for less than $2. Or you could get the LEDs which look good. I wanted the hyperwhite so I went with Polarg up front and used the provided red bulbs in rear.

Yeah you don't want to leave the stock bulbs in there, if you want white get some polargs or something like that. Just hope the leave you alone.

The cops are my main reason for not getting white bulbs. I used amber and red led's that i bought from an .org member. They are nice looking and the red does not look pink at night.

I was under the impression that the Polarg bulb for the side markers are legal?

I think Autozone might sell LED bulbs (I know Pep Boys doesn't), or you can try here...

There are plenty of other websites that sell them too, type in "LED bulbs" in Google and you'll get tons of results.

Nope. I guess it depends on what state you live in, but someone posted the exact language of the ticket they got for having white bulbs in not too long ago. It said something like, "Side markers shall reflect or glow amber in the front and reflect or glow red in the rear." I think it's a fix-it ticket, if you were to switch the bulbs back to amber and red and go to court the judge would probably throw the ticket out, especially if it's your first time.

I had stock clear bulbs with clear corners when I originally installed them...they were yellowish but it didn't bother me much, that is until I swapped my stock clearance bulbs to Polargs, made them look that much more yellow....I ended up swapping for Piaa super plasmas
