Are 6speed in high demand?

I found a really good deal on a 02 SE 6speed dark blue I rather have dark gray, but its a good deal its base on the inside and has the nice rims spoiler and fog lights the standard SE stuff. I guess my question is will I have a harder time reselling the car when I decide to do it because it is a 6 speed rather than a auto.

Thanks guys

Yes, they are in demand. I had to wait for mine because I wanted a manual. Only 6% of the SEs are manual and they go pretty quickly.

(opinion) Buy what *you* want and don't worry so much about resale. The extra fun of owning EXACTLY what you want will offset the difference, if there is any.

Not to mention if you are buying a car worried about the resale value you should steer clear of the Maxima

Years down the line a dealer will probably give you less money as a trade in (because the book value is less), however a private sale will probably bring you more. SOOOOO many people wish they got a 6-speed but could not find it. I'm glad I got mine

Yup they're in demand- youngsta's out there are startin' to get sick
of being dusted by the the 5th gens- so they are hoppin' on the wagon-
But why are you considering resale value- you are buying it used to
begin with/if it was new out of the box it would be more inportant-
you are now that cars second owner- resale went to **** there-
everyone who buys used checks carfax's- unless u are buyind
from old retired Florida people- thats the best used u can buy

Yeah, I wound up having to get mine a few States away from mine, just so I could get a 6MT.

They were getting very difficult to find when I was looking-and I got mine brand new.
