Adding Sub to base stereo?
#2
Yes it is, just need a line convertor (for a regular RCA input amp). Or, if you go with a Basslink off of Ebay for $200 or less, you can just tap you're existing speaker wires, no convertor necessary. If you're looking for clean bass, its a great sub. Many pp like it. Also, you can tap the wires by removing the head unit, or removing the door pillars from the drivers and passenger side (where the seat belts are), and tap into the rear door speakers. Good luck.

I had a line level conveter installed in my 03 after I bought it so I could hook up the amp and sub I had in my previous car. Since my car was brand new, I just took it to Best Buy and had them do the install. They put the converter behind the head unit. The install is very clean and I believe it cost around $100 dollars for the converter, amp kit and installing my existing amp and sub. I think it sounds great and you keep the clean look of the factory head unit, which I like.
