I don't know for sure about the 02's to 03's, but my neighbor tells me that of 18,000 04's that have been buile, about 800, or 4.4%, have been manuals. If you assumed almost a 50/50 mix of SE's and SL's (which I don't know if that is the case, that would be around 9% of SE's that are manual.

I had some stupid Nissan enthusiast at a dealership tell me that there
was no such thing as an '02-'03 6 spd. I almost laughed in his face. He said that the only year with a 6 spd was the '04. Makes me wonder why I bought my car at a dealership. They don't even know the cars!!!

Also, on the 02s, the 6spds were not available till mid year or so? 
I know when the 3.5 just came out, you had to wait to get the 6spd...:

Yep the 6spd 5th gens were on sale in limited #'s for probably less then 1.5yrs at the most. April of 02 the 6spd came out I belive and now...well there aint **** left of them. Had the guy run a search on the west coast and no new 03 6spd were left in existance is what I was told. Ah hell ill just get me a system that will put out over 140db that should keep me busy for a while and ill just admit my car isnt fast

He said hes goona keep lookin around and if he finds one in the US somewere he will let me know. Ill have him look around for like another week or two if nothing ill just proceed with the system and just kick back for a while from the mods. I havnt done anything for a while now anyway due to the fact I was gonna get a 6spd. Yes it is true 6spds were not immediately available......however they were available before april 02.......I told my dealer to call when the first shipment of 02 six spds came in ( Nov 01, bought the second 02 six spd the dealership sold).........still love my 5th gen......and by the looks of the 6th gen it will be my last max for a few years......

I know this has been covered, but I got my '02 6-spd in Dec 01.
Just about every time I go to the dealer and look around, it seems they have a couple of 6-speeds in stock. When I got mine, it was much harder to come by.

I purchased my 6-spd in April this year. When the dealer did a locator, he said just 2 were available in the Eastern Region with the combination I was looking for. Silver or Sterling, 6 spd SE, sunroof, HLSD, with a black cloth interior.

When I purchase my Maxima, there were 3 or 4 other 6spds on the lot. This was a really small dealership. The salesperson told me that the 6spds weren't selling that well so their manager decided to pick them up. All I had to do was chose the color.

MY problem is ive driven the 3.5 6spd and in almost every way it completly blows the 2k-2k1 out of the water IMO, the almost is in the looks, were the 2k-2k1's front bumper and rear tails look better, which I can and will take car of IF I get the car. I do know that "joo's" got one last opportunity left for a new 03, so if Joo's second-guessing whether "joo" wants it now, "joo" will kick-thy-self in "joo" a$$ later on. "joo" better not make the same mistake i did. 
"joo" can replace the rear tails later on, but "joo" will have to live with the bigger-hamburger grill nissan emblem and bumper. "joo always have the opporutnity to get a body-kit later on.
I'm almost tempted to call to see if i can trade my 03 auto in and have that 6-speed shipped here..........

Hey man, atleast YOU have a 3.5, your car atleast has some *****. Im driving a 3.0 auto here. After driving the 6spd its like being teased, now I gotta go get me some 
I really dont care about the hamgurger emblems, in order to get and aerokit to fit, id just replace the front section itself It will basically look almost exactly like my car is right now, just have a sh!tload of *****. I already made a phone call with some1 thats helping me out and will get further details tomorrow. btw- we just totally killed the word joo
