Nismo is coming to town!
Maybe this is old news, and if it is I appologize in advance. I just got back from Desert Nissan here in Vegas and the parts guy was telling me that they will have mods for the max from Nismo in about a month. Just thought I would share.

Re: Nismo is coming to town!
I think the guy at Desert Nissan didn't know better, but I believe most of the planned Nismo parts for North America will be mostly for the 350Z and the SE-R/Spec-V.
The Maxima doesn't get anything other than generic Nismo stuff that would fit almost any Nissan car.

I went to Hot Import Nights in Boston earlier tonight and a Nismo chick gave me a flyer. Here's what it says...
"... with an introduction in June, 2003 of ... performance parts for the Nissan Z, Sentra SE-R and classic Nissan models such as 300ZX, 240SX and sentra."
And it goes on to say...
"In the fall, more NISMO parts will be added to heat up and tune those other Nissan models, including Altima, Xterra and more."
So Altima and more in the fall... is it me or did they list every single Nissan model EXCEPT for the Max? WTF?

I have said this before and it still stands. The Maxima is the Nissan Rodney Dangerfield.
But fourtunately for us we're all used to this and we're resourceful enough to make our own go fast goodies.

It was my first car show. T'was pretty interesting... sorta like a rave for cars. Plenty of riced out cars and hot chicks in skimpy clothing.
I've never been a fan of the rice-look, but I gotta say when one is sitting on a show room floor I think they look pretty slick. Still wouldn't want to be seen driving one down the street though.
Overall I'm glad I went, it was fun. Although at $25 admission and $12 parking, it's not something I'd plan on doing very often.
There were only two Maximas that I found. One of which was featured in the "Hot Spoiler" thread by BDog.
