I looked it up on that service that ebay has almost a month ago when it was first listed and it came up with a salvage title. It said the vehicle had been totalled.

 

I don't get it - everything looks fine!
I guess this is yet another of many examples of why I say CARFAX can be pretty useless - they won't show anything at all if a car was totally destroyed, yet fixed by the owner. In other words, if the car never got turned over to the insurance co., there would be no way for CARFAX to pick up anything at all

Are we allowed to post on here, asking for a CARFAX to be run by somebody w/ an open acct. ?

 

How can we be sure that the VIN number from the egay is correct???
