WTF! I might have stripped the tower nut.

WTF! I might have stripped the tower nut.
Saturday I decided to clean the throttle body. To make this easier I removed my FSTB. When putting it back on I replaced the rubber washers I had used with metal washers because the passenger side was still touching the gold piece that runs beside it (I don't know what it is called but it is part of the AC line). I hand tightened the nuts back on and then used the torque wrench set to 34 lbs. Now two of the nuts on each side just keep turning and not getting any tighter. They are not loose because I can't untighten them by hand. Am I just screwed now? Thanks for the help.
