I would have asked if you could have the mounts for trophys. Then windo weld them, because it's going to happen again ESPECIALLY if you launch at the track and get wheel hop.

The rear bottom mount is NOTORIOUS for breaking and I can't believe they wouldn't have KNOWN that from your description I already knew AT LEAST that mount was blown.

DAVEB tells me that mount is ordered right and left, because it breaks so easily.

BTW, the electronic mounts contain a magnetic fluid that the ECU varies voltage into inorder to control the stiffness of the mount. At idle the engine mount is 'soft' and then at 2000 RPM it switches to 'hard'. So, you might try launching above 2000 rpm to make keep hop to a minimum.

Actually, I'm not so sure about that.

Upon further inspection, one engine mount(EM1) goes from soft->hard at 2000+ rpm, however, the other EM2 goes from hard->soft.

[edit]
ONLY autoMAGICs have electric motor mounts(two). You could disconnect the mounts to have constant 'hard' for launches under 2000rpm, but I doubt it will make too much difference.

Maybe Steve can chime in on this one, cause I sent him back my stock 2k1 electric mounts. I'd like to know how he got with tearing them apart and filling them. But Alex is right, you shouldve asked for them, wouldve been nice to fill it yourself. But if I remember correct, I think warranty replaced parts have to be kept and then sent back or something.
