14+ nicks on windshield, 10+ on paint, only 10 months old
After I waxed my maxima today, I almost wished I didn't. Clay bar'd it and the whole bit. The wax really makes the nicks and chips show. I also waxed the windshield with carnuba wax, seems to do a good job repelling rain. But, to my horror, my windshield is full of pits. Is there anything to prevent this? I have a clear bra on my hood, but it looks as if the rest of the car could use it too.
Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze " creates an elastic, non-chip, shrink-proof, heat and scratch resistant". Is this BS? If it would help reduce chips by even a little, I'd buy it.
BTW, what is the brand name of the good windshield (I believe its made here in the USA)? I know ours is made in Asia or something like that. I not a big fan of replacing it, so hard to find good installers.

I just got my windshield replaced since it had finally gotten one big chip mark and over time, noticed all the little pit marks. It really showed up in the late evening with the sun glare, you could see all the little nicks. the new windshield makes me feel like I'm driving a new Max. It's was worth it.
