Stillen Brakes

I just installed Stillen Crossdrilled front rotors with their metal matirx pads. Just 10 mile son the new stuff so I can't comment on how well they stop, but I'm getting a low frequency whinning when I stop. I assumed that it was from the cross drilling?

Anyone else experience this? Is it normal?
