I photoshopped it myself.

I lowered it
Made it a 2 door
Added a sticker to the rear window
and shaved a bunch of stuff

I would TOTALLY get the 2 door

I wish they made the maxima in a two door, but ONLY like in the cropped pictures you guys made. Meaning with a big back window behind the doors, therefore bigger back seating space (indented) than most two door cars. Kinda like that new CL...big back window, with the "walk in" power seat feature (like in Mercedes) that allows other people an easy way to get into the back seat of a two door. Therefore 4 door feel on the inside and getting in and out, with a 2 door look, handling and performance. Nice work with the pics!

The front half looks very similar to an Accord coupe... nice job on the Photoshopping.

Nope, I think so too. I also don't like the overly slammed look, 1 inch is all I can handle.

What I would REALLY like to see though is a 2K white ragtop. (or a 2002 VQ35 SC ragtop, but let's keep it serious)

Reality is that no designer would ever push their two-door out with the same back end as their four-door. They'd clip it like Honda did the Accord and Toyota did the Camry, if not because they liked it better...because the Camry and Accord sell so well in the two-door versions once they made the two-door significantly different. If the car looks the same...ie. 5th generation Accords...why buy the two-door when all it means is less space and harder entry. But, buy the 6th gen because the coupe looks good and the sedan looks boring as hell.

I say leave Maxima alone.

However, I say to Nissan...Infinti needs to be in the market of competing with the SC300/400, the CLKs, and CL Type S, etc.

<B> wait, camry's have two door versions? (aside the solara?)...

I like the proposed two door version of the Maxima. It'd have to have dual wishbone suspension at all four corners, though...

Thanks for all compliments. Ill work on it later on 2nighte so I can:
A.Make the rear look a little different
B.Make a ragtop version.

Photoshopping is the modifying of images using Adobe Photoshop, or other image touch up programs. I reccomend downloading the free demo at lycos.com (If you have a high speed conection. Its a 74 meg download). The full version costs like 600 bucks now. The demo blocks the save feature, but that can be bypassed. The demo also lacks some of the plug ins like the Render, and other stuff. But your getting virtually the same program for 600 bucks.

NOOOOO!!!!!

I think you did do a good job shortening the car but I still don't like the idea of a full sized car with 2 doors. I like My Maxima 4 doors. Why not use the engine technology on a little sports car. You know, how they did with the Pathfinder and the Xterra. Make a smaller sportscar that can be affordable while the Z is the top model. Make a quick little roadster like the Miata. I personally don't like the Miata, but a lot of people do.
