HELP!!! over heating problem
My Max is overheating. It started as soon as the weather got warmer here, up to 98 degrees. The temp gauge goes all the way up within 20 minutes of driving it, even faster if the air is on. There is plenty of coolant.
So what could be the problem? It seems that coolant is not moving through the engine block like it is supposed to? Is there a block in a line, a stuck thermostat?

This may not help at all, but my last car was a 94 Corolla and I had the same problem in that. It turned out to be my water pump was leaking and not doing it's job.
If you open the hood after it happens, does it seem to be hotter than usual? I realize that hot is hot on a 98 degree day, but if your engine is really over heating then I think you'd be able to notice the jump in temp.
Just some thoughts, I'm far from a mechanic.
