Frankencar pipe is in.......WOW

I just finished the install, about 1 hour and all I can say is WOW!!! When I first started the car I heard more air sucking in (like a real vacuum), I knew then that was a sign of things to come. Got on the street at normal acceleration and it sound great. BUT, when I finally got it at WIDE OPEN THROTTLE, THE CAR SOUNDED MAD AS HELL AND PULLED LIKE HELL. IT ACTUALLY SCARED ME!!! LOL. Overal its well worth the money and the time it takes to get to you! If your thinking about an intake Frankencar is the way to go!

Did you have any problems installing it. My friend did this on his 2K max and the midpipe was sagging really bad since he couldnt use the stillen brackets. Can you post some pics or something because Im thinking about doing this too cuz I love the sound it makes. Also, does it whistle at all? I love how my stillen whistles .

Here's a pic of my 2k. I need to push it in some but I don't have a bracket to brace it so I'm going to wait... don't want to screw up the MAF

I don't know about a whistle but the vaccuum sounds are very pronounced. Its not a constant sound, but it is kinda cool.

Yup, that's the exact position that mine is in, but I used the bracket and had to zip tie it to the bolt hole by the strut tower, because it wouldn't reach. No whistle here, just a deep roaaarrr!

Sure I can post some pics need to recharge the cam. But I was able to use the top Stillen bracket after all. I bent it alittle and turned it around. (pic will better explain) but its not sagging at all. I did not even get a bracket from Frankencar but even if I didn't have the stillen intake the Couplers would have been enough. They were tough *** leather to put on!

I just installed my frankencar last week but i broke one of the tubes for my breather or vacuum lines whatever you call it. the midpipe is ****ty quality and just broke...wtf So I siliconed the hole it made and then just cut a hole in my main breather tube and siliconed it to that...it works but looks sloppy, also they should have made those tubes at an angle. do you think ill have any problems down the road? Also it seems that my frankencar got quieter, maybe I just got used to it though.

Yikes! Have you contacted Frankencar? I know they are hard to get up with but since its so new they may send you a new midpipe... or give you a discount on one. Ask them to send you a new one and put out a call tag to pick up the broken one (after the new is installed). They may be able to reuse the old one (if its worth the effort to them). I'm afraid the silicone will give over time and allow the vaccuum to suck in debris.

Mine broke when it was on the car after a couple weeks. I just repainted it and so far its holding in there.
