Introduction and first performance mod on my Maxima

Hello all! My name is Patrick and I'm new to this board. I live in Grand Junction, Colorado and am a 28 year old Maxima Fan. I bought my 2003 Sunlight Sand Nissan Maxima GLE about 2 months ago. It's an auto though...don't make fun of me, k? Auto or not I love driving her...she's just damn cool looking and has a little bit of muscle under that hood - I just love to drive, and I knew because of that, the Maxima was for me.

Anyways, what's the first least expensive, easiest performance modification that I can do to my Maxima? Does it involve the air filter? I apologize for such a NEWBIE question, but I will learn, and learn quickly!

Thanks...and I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Patrick

1)RSB(Rear Sway Bar)
2)H&R springs
3)FSTB(Front Strut Tower Brace)

You've got enough power with the 3.5 VQ even in autoTRAGIC form...now you just need to work on the handling.

Welcome aboard!

Dude - do a search for MAF before you put an intake on. Many people say they make a lot of noise and not much else. Then your MAF blows and you limp home.

Yes, it is a nice addition.....a nice addition of piping hot radiator air being sucked into your engine.

I had one on my 2k, the filter sits under the battery, not behind the radiator It made quite a big improvement in the power of my car and sounds nice too...
