according to Brandon from custom maxima they are inventing a turbo for the 2002 and 2003 maxi. He clams that it is going to give the car 100 more horsepower. Hopefully its true-355 horses wow

I can't wait! If its true, then we can probably hang with both M3 and S4. Well, atleast on Highway

then another 100Shot Nawzz.....we can keep up with Corvette ZO6~ Ha Ha sorry, I'm just day dreaming, don't mind me.

you might get 100hp from the turbo, but it won't be 355hp... don't tell me your adding the 100hp to the 255bhp to get 355hp... thats not how it works... you got to dyno the max before the turbo, and see what you get maybe 210hp to the wheels, then you add the turbo to see how much the hp goes up... that is what your result is... keep in mind BHP is not hp to the wheels...

I'm not really into the boy racer look, subtley is always a little better, but that is an interesting kit.
Is this really for sale and by whom?

O2'maxed out -- I've got several "prototype" parts on my bikes. Somebody's always willing to make and/or sell it if you've got the coin!

^ WTF, having a bad day or something?... Honestly man, that was the most immature post I've ever seen. People sometimes miss things when they read over a thread, you don't need to be an a ss about it. Also, please tell me exactly why you cant compare car parts to sportbike parts. (I'm assuming its a sportbike) Money talks, and if you hand a manufacturer tons of cash, I'll bet they get started that day.

Sorry had to respond!
Listen Pal -- just because I'm new on this list doesn't mean ****! I've done frameup restorations on vintage Jags for years. Hot lapped an '87 Indy car as well as several different sportbikes and still race MX bikes. My last toy car was a seriously breathed on Alfa Romeo Quadrifiglo.
A one off or prototype part is obtainable as long as you've got the cash. For example, on one of my current bikes I've got a set of billet & Ti footpegs and backets. Only 3 in the world $700.00. Not a big deal if you want the best. So chill!
Maximas are nothing more than a UJC (universal Japanese Car). They'll have no better long term value than any other UJC. I actually get quite the kick out of reading about you guys ricing them out! Because you know, as soon as you add a body kit, mesh grill, 20" bling rims, funky blue lights or clear lenses you're over the edge .... call Uncle Ben!!

my bad brianc to get over worked... i just felt I needed to flame on a question that could be answered by reading the whole thread... didn't mean to flame and make a big deal about it...

its just when it comes to kits for our car, there are only two or three kits made for us...
Ninja, Sarona, VIS, .... all three lookalike
Stillen Aero, Stillen Touring, Stillen Big mouth...

so, its been word that Custommaxima has been doing a prototype for us for a couple of months... i thought everyone knew, but apparantly the word didn't get to everyone...

so again, my bad about the flame, just be a bit more careful when asking a question...

The final prototype is currently on a maxima in our warehouse. It is getting painted red then a photoshoot. Also it will be made out of a new type of fiberglass, it basically flexes like urethane but still the same price as fiberglass. We took the front bumper and literally bent it in half without breaking!! You guys will be very pleased with it.

Being that this looks a front bumper replacement style kit, are they making two, 1 for 2K-2K1's and 1 for 2k2-2K3's?

very clean, nice and aggressive looking

I honestly don't want to give a date, cause if there is a delay and it is not complete on that day I usually always get crucified here on Maxima.org. All I say is that the paint is almost ready and we are scheduled for a photoshoot asap.
