Question about remote for Viper 790XV

How long do the batteries last in your remotes.. Mine seem to only last a month or a little over a month. Just wondering if that was normal?

Only a month, if i recall, i never had the change the battery in the remote for my car alarm. I'm assuming this is probably a pager remote correct? A month seems like a reasonable number

2 months for me.. i just changed mine yesterday, nite and day difference. like the remote has added hp.

in all seriousness, the battery that comes with the alarm looks like cheapo ish. the new one should last longer.

one month on the crappy battery that came with it, so far 1.5 months on a duracell with full bars left. I don't use the backlight or vibration feature (uses more juice then the beeps) on the remote. Also if you are away from you car (out of the remote range) you can make the remote stop trying to communicate with teh alarm.

THe battery that came with mine only lasted a few weeks. I put a new battery in and its been goin strong for about 4 weeks now. Only thing thats weird after changing the battery is that my remote sometimes resets itself when it gets bumped or when i move around alot and its in my pocket. Do you guys have this problem too?

It just goes through its little start up thing where all the icons light up and the tones play. Its the same thing that happens when you take the battery out, then put in a new one.

My remote does not do that, the only time i've heard the little tune was when changing out the battery.
