hello i was wondering if anyone have a problem with the 03 max which cut the sound from the left when playing CD (the radio still work just fine)?

 

yes, there is a TSB for this...basically, a wire in the HU gets knocked around and the left channel gets messed up. i went through hoops, but they eventually replaced mine. make sure your new HU has a manufacture after December 2002!

 

yeah i got the same problem in my maxima. take it to the dealership they should cover it.. i hope you got less then 36,000 miles... i just had mines replaced for free from them....

 

The dealer shouldn't give you any problems.
Took mine in last week, described the problem and they ordered me a new one.
It wouldn't do it when I took it in, but they took my word for it.

I'm actually taking my car in tomorrow for this very same thing. Also mentioned that my rear deck rattles from the sub....not expecting any miracles from that one, though...

 

all of my speakers cut out WTF! I called them and they ordering me a new bose radio. What a waiste of $1000

 

I just got back from the stealership.

They are ordering me a new head unit and a new sub (apparently). I'm just wondering if I should have just put up with the stupid Bose because I have a bad feeling they are just going to make things worse....
