**Updated** New Pics with Maxspeeds, HKS, and Tint

***Copy and past link into browser......

Well, finally dropped some money in the max. Got 20% Madico cool chrome put on the windows, lowered her with maxspeeds, and put on the HKS catback, and put in some redline MT90. HKS is a must have, now you can tell the car is alive; stock i couldn't even tell when i was at WOT. It doesn't sound ricey at all, very deep throaty sound. I'll take a vid if it stops raining here. Here are some pics....,

HKS catback..

The whole 9 yard.. (notice hks tips sticking out)

make sure that you do the link from your storage bin. You must have linked them on that screen that comes up right after you upload a pic

Yeah it is. It's sorta dark out, been raining on and off. I'll take better pics when the sun comes out. That will also show the true beauty of the tint job.

By the way, thanx to all of you guys who recommended TNT shop in D.C. metro. Good quality job, but expensive.

HKS sounds sweet doesn't it. Once you get a y pipe if you do it gets loud

Question about the y pipe. From what i gather from reading comments on the org, the aftermarket y pipes out there for the 2k2+ have any performance gains over the stock one, just increases the noise level. Is that correct, or will actually increase performance?

The HKS sounds suh-weeeeet with the stock intake/y-pipe right now. I'm considering leaving it as is because i think an aftermarket intake with the hks will be too loud.
Any comments on that?

Thanx

The intake has no effect with how the exhaust sounds, the y-pipe however does. Get the intake and dont worry about it

the y pipe has proven not too give much more than 2-3 whp peak but I do believe it helps out all the way through the powerband. Some agree some disagree. I think my track times agree with my logic.

Looks real good man. I tried the whole exhaust thing, but thought it was too loud. I had a budget b-pipe w/ resonator and a Powertech muff. Well I put the stock muffler back on and tomorrow I'm getting some 3" magnaflow tips welded on. The b-pipe with magnaflow resonator makes enough of a growl for me that can definitly be heard. Congrats on the tint, drop and exhaust. I love my maxspeed/ GR2 combo.

Thanx for the all the compliments. She's coming along.
Trying to decide if i want an intake or not. I heard Lumbee1's car with the Injen and stock exhaust and the vq is "screaming" under WOT. I don't know if i want to go that route or not. I don't want the car to be loud, just nicely noticeable. The HKS was just to give the car a nice exhaust note, which it did; plus I can tell the engine is torquier too. If i still have the max instead of a dang jet ski due to all this rain here, i'll take some nice vids to give you guys an idea of what it sounds like.

I'll get a place racing cai (if i'll get an intake), and put on some nice 18s on her and that'll be the end of the mods.

It's the rear section. Basically right after the B pipe. Got it from Pioneer for $400 who was replacing it with a different kind.

I guess it looks alright. I'm not a fan of that cheap mirror tint, and that HKS sounds like a fart can. Are you planning on lowering that 4x4 anytime soon?

j/k
can't wait to hear it!

My friend sells it on his site (the picture on the site is not dual tipped but the muff that you would get is just like sorcereur)

Looks good! Now you need to clear the side markers. Cleared side markers would look awesome with that sheer silver.

The problem with the HKS Exhaust system is that it costs too much for just the rear section alone, which doesn't improve the performance of the car that much. I'm thinking about getting the entire, or partial Cattman Exhaust system for my 2001. Your car looks good though
