Stock grille isn't bad looking however, I can easily manage to stick my hand inside and pop the hood open. I was thinking of adding mesh into the back side although I haven't really looked into it yet to see if it would come out clean. Let's see some pics of your aftermarket/DIY grilles guys!

 

I think that anyone who wanted to get your hood open would unfortunately do much much more than stick his hand thru the factory grille.

 

you might be right, but i think that some HID thieves go the undercover route and pop the hood in the way that Surreal described as to not draw attention like ripping the HIDs out with a crowbar would do. since most people would think that if they have the hood of a car open then it is their car so people wouldnt think it is out of the ordinary and wont call the police (unless its your car with the hood open)

 

I think all that would get you is a bashed in grille and/or crowbarred hood and bumper. Just my $.02.
