overheating problem

My Max is overheating. It was really bad before so I changed the thermostat because the old one was stuck closed. It was a pain to change that, very hard to get to. Well it is better but still overheating just not as quickly. Before it would only take 10 minutes. Now is takes about 45 minutes but is still doing it. What else could be causing the problem??

Where you rollin? whats the weather like?
I have never had my maxima over heat or even get close and i have driven around in the heat for hours at a time.
try getting your coolant system flushed.
