Ground Wire Kit?

I was wondering if anyone has done this or if it is even worth it. I heard that this would put a betetr ground to all your major components but I dont know anyone that has this done other then a civic he says it helped the car run better and it gave him a few extra ponies Im not sure but if anyone has this done please let me know of let me know if you even recomend it here is the link:

if the condition of the grouds was bad then there might be some gains with a ground kit but i doubt if your 2000 has really bad grounds. i think you might notice brighter lights and maybe better throttle response. if i were you, i would spend the money on something else or save up for a y pipe which gives known gains. some around here did an ooglie ground kit where they replaced with thicker gauge and better connectors for much less than the kits run.

I can't remember which magazine, but they put ground wires on the new Z and it gained 6 HP and 7 ft-lbs of torque. The gains you get all depend on the wires you use and the locations you ground them to.

what kind of car did he put it into? and not knocking him but did he have install it himself? there are alot of nitrous fed cars around me, some maximas and of course there are always issues with it but the same goes for the sc. also the lighter wheels and weight reduction benefits would mainly show up at the track.

well whether you go with nos or supercharger, obviously you will have to build up the tranny since its auto. the VB mod is said to lower 1/4 mile times by a little. getting it would also be preparing for the sc if that is where you are going.

the vb is valvebody recalibration. essentially it is reworking the valvebody in the transmission to rid the change lag from 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. when you drive normally you can feel the auto change gears and there is actually a decent amount of time before it changes. the vb rids of that lag. there are two companies that i know of that do them. unfortunately, im having a brain fart and i can only remember peoples name from the shop and not the actual shop. i know its don in texas and jeff in jersey, im pretty sure. hopefully someone else can throw in a link to either one but ive heard better things about jeff in jersey. youre car will be down for the few days you mail the valvebody but its essential if you get into boost or nitrous. to get more info, i would search for valvbody recalibration or vb mod and start the long reading list.
