Gas Problem!!!

Hey guys, i think that i am getting terrible gas mileage on my 2000 SE auto. I mean, I filled up Friday evening with 93 octane, reset my mileage odometer and between Friday and saturday and a little bit of Sunday and my gas meter went from a little bit above the full mark to the 1/4 of a tank mark. And i wasn't even gunning it!! My trip computer read 236 miles when it was on the 1/4 tank mark. Is this normal?? I hope it isn't. I don't think it's an 02 sensor cuz my light is not on. I've been getting mileage like that ever since i got the car. Thanks
Please Help!!!! Should i take it to nissan and let em look at it???

"wasn't even gunning it"... that's pretty subjective. On 1/4 I still have about 100 miles to go so you're getting 330-ish miles/tank.

That's not bad compared to some around here... not good either, but it's nothing to worry about. Try driving so you don't touch 3k on the tach for one full tank and see what you get for mileage. Here's mine:

Searching on 'mileage' should give many results to compare against.

Also keep in mind that you should never allow the fuel guage to drop below half a tank. This causes the fuel pump to work harder than it would above half decreasing its life. this also has the potential to lower performance and decrease efficiency

You need to calculate your MPG to see whats going on.

Fill up, reset the trip odometer to zero, drive until 1/4 tank is left, fill up again and record how much gas went in. Then divide the miles you have driven by the amount of gas that just went in. The number is the MPG.

You should get ~19mpg around town and ~27 on the highway. If you do a mix of both, expect ~22MPG.

I do this each time I fill up and find the number is the same each time. By following the MPG you will be alerted if their is a sudden drop.

Push the Trip button until it displays the mpg. Then push and hold the Trip button until the dashes come up, and that will reset the trip comupter mpg.
