Speedo Needles

Anyone know how to take the needles off a 4th generation speedo that is broken. I want to change my factory red needles out with grey ones. The new needles are on the gauges but the gauges are broken. There is a way to put my speedo in calibration mode for removal of mine, but I need to know how to take off the broken ones without messing them up. Thanks.

I took the needles off my old 200sx, but I'm not sure if its the same. I wasn't supposed to take them off to put on the indiglo guages but I was rushing and didn't read the directions, but anyway after taking off the needles it was a pain in the **** to get them correct. The probably will be off when you put them back on, so the best advice I can give you is know where the gas guage is before taking it off, know where your temp guage is at normal engine temp, know the idle for the tach, and know what your speeds are at different rpm's. Then when you connect them again, leave the plastic cover off and just try to adjust them and match them back up.

*Warning* When I was finished, my gas guage was off by about 1/8th of a tank, and the temp guage ended up broken because the needle was stuck on and I forced it off, but the tach and speed ended up perfect.

Maybe there is an easier way, but like I said I was stupid and in a rush.
