Electronic Control Module (ECN)

Has anyone had experience with replacing an electronic Control Module (ECN). The car totally shut down - and it appears that the ECN needs to be replaced.

Are you talking about the main ECM/ECU? That is a big unit to just die out. Does the car do anything with the Key in the ignition and turned to the ON position? Does the dash light up or nothing?

Might want to check a few things before you rule all that out and know its the ECM

Thanks for your response. Yeah, it sure is a big thing; since the Engine analyzer does not get a reading, we are being informed by dealer to replace ECN. I'm open to any other ideas or troubleshooting.
