Here is a pic of the parts u need for it.

All u really need is the rubber flex adaptor and the tubing. and the filter if u dont have it.

The tubing goes into that addaptor and the adaptor attatches to the air box as shown in the next pics

Now here is the proof it works. Last time i went to the track i ran a 16.1 with a 2.49 60'. This time i had a 2.48 60' but ran a 15.9 at 86mph. So it appears the intake is helping.
My best time of the night was 15.6 at 88mph with a 2.3 60'

Looks Great!

How low do you place the open end of the tube and how did you attach it at the end???

The open end of the tube is right above the plastic splash guard. I didnt put the grate on it though. I might use some pvc instead of the metal to get smoother air flow

Very nice looking and professional. I think the metal duct is smoother than the plastic ridged one that others are using. Can you take a picture of where the opening is? I'm going to do this mod. Looks great!

I chose the plastic ridged just cause it was cheap... $3 for like 10'. I plan on picking up PVC or something similar that has no ridges in it. Also I stuck with 3" tubing the whole way down.

Punkdork: Did you put the air scoop back on after your install? It seems as if Adam left it on afterwards....If you put it back on, does that mean you are getting air from the scoop and the tubing underneath? Thanx....

You have to keep the scoop on because that is what the new pipe attatches too. Go run out to your car and take your scoop off and you will understand what we are all talking about. You also need it for water reasons. Without it the pipe would have to much suction and u might have water problems. With the scoop there isnt enough pressure to suck up water..

I'll second that. Its all once piece, besides.. I would think the scoop would help to draw in more cold air from the bottom.

I think I'm just going to do the 3" version. I think that diameter combined with the top intake will be plenty.
