Arghh bad MAF & O2 sensor!!!
Arghh bad MAF & O2 sensor!!!
Just need to vent. Last few days car was running like dog s***, so took it to a dealer I know. Strange thing was it wasn't blowing and codes even on the diag mach but was not producing any power or acceleration.. Long story short the tech started swapping parts out of another 2k on the lot that they kew were good and finally traced to the MAF (big surprise right?) and one of the o2 sensors. Here the kicker warr comp won't cover excessive diag time so I had to eat a chunk of the labor
but frotunately the dlr met me half way. Happy ending is the car runs the way its supposed to and found a good dlr to work on my car. Peace out.

yes all of the above & would stall at a stop, idle would dip down and the rev to catch itself up and would surge on acceleration. Also upon start in am it would lag as to say I'm not taking where you want to go. The worst part was that the ses light never tripped. It stunk I was being passed by old ladies in fairlanes wearing those really bad wrap arround glasses. Hope youre not going through the same thing.
Hopefully your ses light came on and diag was easy my car was tied up for the whole day and then some. Hate leaving it someplace other than my garage at night. Serv advisor said he hasn't seen that many come through his shop but he said there are penty of reasons why they go bad.
