Yeah... it's a tough fit. If you use the included spacers, it will fit better. If you didn't get the spacers, you can call K & N and they'll send them to you.

NO NO NO....

No, you are stuffing it in the wrong way/side or you got a filter that’s too big.. Try your Stock one again, and you'll see which way the K&N fits and what I’m talking about.

The only problem is on that side, its to loose, and on the other side you have too stuff it, but that’s not the correct side.

So you need some spacers. You see, That filter is a standard size, even fits some GM cars and K&N figured it was close enough then to make a whole new filter for just a few cm. Anyhow, the spacers are left out sometimes, all it is is that sticky one sided felt like strip people put around home doors for a better seal. Very cheap, get a strip from home base. One strip on each side of the air filter tray will hold the filter snug on the CORRECT side.

I've taken mine out a dozen times... and it's not a perfect fit. The stock filter goes in and out quite easily. I found that using the spacers, it was a little easier to install the filter. Psing, make sure you are turning the filter in the right direction, but I assume you are already doing that.

You got it in and it's snug. I would just leave it. Next time you have to put it back in, it will probably go in a little easier.

ye prob... TexMaximum i think i figured out what u talkin about... no i am putting it in the right way... its not hard to put it in that holder thingie... yea it is loose in there... its hard to get the snaps closed ontop... much harder than stock but i looked at it and the stock gasket thingie on the filter is thinner than the K&N one.. and its softer on the stock one which is prob the reason that its harder to close the K&N one... well atleast i know its not me then and others came accross this too... im happy its finally in and now the next step is putting the OSCAI in... guess its gonna wait till next weekend...
