No backpressure can cause a loss in Torque and HP. Besides without engine management I would keep the main cat on. Also consider things as temps during your runs and condition of the car as recent tune ups etc. Lots of factors but I would say backpressure is the key. I read a review about the 350 when it came out and they lost 6HP by putting on a aftermarket japenese exhaust but they gained with a 911 exhaust.

You'll loose some lowend with more freeflow.. But then you'll gain high-end. But at the track you'd probably won't hit 4thgear unless your boosted...

Hey,

Thanks for the help guys...i put the CaT back on and hoping to make it to St. Thomas Dragway tomorrow if it doesnt rain. I understand the weather conditions and all but the second time i took it to the track i was at a better track and had BETTER 60 ft.'s. I sure hope that was the problem...BTW i only have 12,000 miles, my car cant be getting slower, this should be prime time.

Thanks again,
Leo
