Grounding wires

OK, someone PLEASE tell me what the deal is with all these people putting these "grounding wire kits" on their cars. What do they expect to gain? I think you would gain more power from the stickers than from wires. Correct me if I'm wrong.

usually works on older cars, only in that it re-freshes the ground contacts. A yearly cleaning of all grounding points will probably gain back any losses ... As far as gaining HP, I am skeptical ...

After MANT lengthy debates over this I still call BS on significant power gains.

On the other hand: it won't hurt anything, and really is a must for those with aftermaket audio amplifiers.
