Out of curiousity, how many people with a 5th Gen Maxima would be interested in eyelids while I'm at it. I'm making the eyelids with 5 layers of thick fiberglass. Because I am VERY tight about quality, I produce one pair per mold, per day. If there are atleast 10 people interested, I will throw these into production too. First, before production, I will make a rough photoshop picture so you can all get the general idea of what it will look like. Just let me know what you guys think. - Jitek

Updated ... C'mon guys ... Sentra people jumped ... no ... leaped at this. They seriously attacked it. We have a LOT of people here right now. The main problem is the fact that their are two different sized headlights, meaning that I have to buy both sets in order to insure PERFECT fitment. That's why we need ten. Unless someone doesn't mind having their headlights for a couple weeks =) - Jitek

What color do these "unpainted" eyelids come as - I have a black SE and was wondering if they came black (so I wouldn't have to get them painted)

Will some one at the top of the list post pics of actual eye lids when they get theirs, or if you could just post a pic when the first ones are made. Regardless I am still in. Just would like to see finished product.

Thanks.

digimax, they are not black. You will have to get them painted. To be honest, if you spend this amount of money on eyelids, wouldn't you want to pay that little extra to get them painted and give them the credit they deserve? cwebb, you've been updated. I will request a few of my customers to send pictures with the ACTUAL painted eyelids on the car in order for me to use it on the OFFICIAL SITE (not this gay geocities one) that is in the works right now. - Jitek

OK, that may be easy for you to say but here's the thing. There are two things that are making me think about stopping this group buy. #1 is the legal one. I don't need legal problems. If someone can go and find me proof that what I'm doing is not illegal or help me get into contact with a lawyer who specializes in this area. If this copyright thing can't stop me, it's not going to. #2 is the conscience. This guy already had this going on and I'm going to just bust in and take his customers because he got hurt. I think we all need some sympathy here. Help Me through this guys. - Jitek

For #1, I think it's pretty apparent that the copyright thing isn't gonna fly..but I'm not a lawyer so I guess it doesn't matter. But #2, it's business, can't let conscience get in the way. What happened was unfortunate but still, IIRC you did start this thread before that accident thread. Decision is yours but, I think most ppl just care about (and therefore will buy) from whoever comes out w/a quality product first.

BTW, just to let you know. The group buy price is STILL going on. You're still welcome to be added to the list. After this, the price will be $61 + S&H (like other eyelids of this quality). - Jitek

hi,

Just curious... After installing the eyelids, will they be removable in the future?

I know we are using adhesive tape, but how easy would that be to completely (and neatly) remove it off the clear plastic housing and return it to stock form?

Thanks!!!

If you go to pep boys, autozone, etc. Get this adhesive remover that is made by 3M. It works wonders. I debaged my whole car in about 10-15 minutes. It's quick and wipes adhesive off clean without damaging. - Jitek
