Currently I have eyelids for the 3rd Gen Nissan Altima in production and the production of B15 sentra eyelids pending. Out of curiousity, how many people with a 5th Gen Maxima would be interested in eyelids while I'm at it. I'm making the eyelids with 5 layers of thick fiberglass. Because I am VERY tight about quality, I produce one pair per mold, per day. If there are atleast 10 people interested, I will throw these into production too. First, before production, I will make a rough photoshop picture so you can all get the general idea of what it will look like. Just let me know what you guys think. - Jitek

Is there someone else making them? I'm not aware f that. OK. Pics are going to be photoshopped because I obviously can't start an expensive project for one person to buy it. If someone has a clean digi cam picture of their 5th gen, if I could have it to photoshop the picture. I don't want to go and steal people's pictures off of cardomain and whatnot. By giving me their picture now would be consenting me to alter them. I just don't want to run into any legal crap. - Jitek

I don't know, it didn't state that he was making them. I don't like to go for complicated looking ones. I like the classical simple style. That's me. Thanks BioMaxDDS, I'll use your pictures. Your cars black too, it makes it a lot easier. I'll get back to you guys. - Jitek

Yea, a lot of people say that they like it because it's clean and simple. I just need about 9 more people that tell me the same thing that you just told me, and Imma throw it into the production line-up.

Wow, I think I'll have an easy 10 right here. OK, seems like you guys like it. I'll throw these into production as well. I was looking at a lot of other eyelids. They look like they go for about $60 - $65 + S&H. I think I want to aim for around $50 SHIPPED to ANYWHERE in the continental U.S. How's about that sound? - Jitek

Seems like everyone here is happy with it. Before I officially throw this into production, do you think I should do a group buy on this. Say $50 SHIPPED for a batch of at least ten and $60 SHIPPED for everyone else. What do you guys think? There's got to be a benefit for the people who are going to trust me with their money and this project. - Jitek

Jitek, just a reminder, the 2000-2001 headlights are different than the 2k2+ so you'll have to make another type of eyelid set for the 2000-1s.

Yeah I don't know what happened to that other group deal on these things, but I haven't heard anything in awhile so I want to jump on these eyelids. Count me in and how are they going to be attached?

Joe - They will get to you unpainted. Believe me, it's very cheap to get them painted. Installation will be done with double sided 3M weather-proof adhesive (included). Just follow the instructions that will be included. A 5-year-old would be able to do it in less than 5 minutes.

bad2rock - 2 of my cousins own Maximas, I'll take care of Maxima owners. I own an altima so I take care of alty owners, my other cousin has a sentra, so I take care of sentra owners. One of my cousins own a Celica ... traitor to Nissan =)

Nissan5788 - Yea, that means that we're going to need 20 people. 10 for each set. 2002 + I believe are the HIDs right? The 5.5 Gen?

Guzo - There seems to be A LOT of people that want them. I'm sure that I can make them for both headlights. Otherwise, we're going to have to stick with just one. I'm thinking that there's going to be enough for both though.

Everyone Else - Ok guys. I changed things around a bit and will give you the same offer that I gave to the Sentra guys. We just need at least 10 people for each type of headlights. Because I don't own a Maxima, I don't know what they are called but to my understanding, after the HID headlights came out 2002 - 2003 and before 2000 - 2001, the headlights are different. As I mentioned, I have to Maxima owning cousins. One has a 2000 and the other a 2002. That would be perfect for test fitting. The price is going to be $41 + S&H for a group buy for ANYONE that participates. After this group buy is done, the price per set is going to be $61 + S&H. This is what I need from you guys. If you are interested, I need you to post your Zip code along with the headlight code. And if there is anyone kind enough, if they would tell me the headlight codes for the 00-01 and the 02-03 headlights, I would appreciate it. I want to be official about this. I guess I can learn about maximas as I go. By the way, because I'll be making one pair per mold per day (to ensure quality) it's going to take a long time. As soon as I finish the first one, I will ship it out to #1 on the list and so forth. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask. - Jitek
