Possible source for VQ35 turbo in Florida

Check out this post in the altima forums.

http://www.nissantalk.com/forum/show...hreadid=114171

This company is looking for a VQ35 Altima volunteer. Maybe a Florida Max owner could pay them a visit and convince them that a market exists for us.

That's the guy who did my Supercharger install. He's done my pulley upgrades, belt change, exhaust tips, ect. His name is Tom Coleman and his shop is 15 minutes away from my house. He's a really good guy who know's his ****.

He wanted to fabricate a kit for my Max before he knew I had the Stillen Supercharger kit. He wants to fabricate me an aftercooler too.

I am sure if enough people showed interest he would make you guys a kit for around $3000. His kit would be a quality kit too. If enough people show interest just let me know and i'll talk to him.

He would also fabricate a supercharger kit for 5th Gens, 2000-2001 | 2002-2003 if enough interest was shown. It would be Centrifugel, don't know if it would be Vortech or not. We talked about it briefly the last time I was at his shop.

Do you think you could you go by the shop again when you get a chance and ask him some questions? What kind of setup he could do, estimated price, how long would he need a test car for, and whatever else anyone else could think of.

Sure. I need to buy some fittings for my new AEM FPR, then i'm going back, so sometime this week or next week. We need to make an official thread I think to gauge serious interest. (I dont think this thread is taken seriously) Then I'll tell him to sign up and post a thread of his own here on the .org.

But he brought up the Altima post to my attention while I was at the shop last, and has expressed interest in doing it for the Maxima's as well.

If enough serious interest is expressed, a kit will get made at a very fair price.
