Tires

Sat I got a flat tire, the hole was on the side of the tire so it was unrepairable. So I figured I would get a new tire but no one has a 225/50/17 in stock, so I figured I would look on the net and the best deal I could find where these http://tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?...omCompare1=yes
and they are WR rated not like I would be going anywhere near that speed but the higher speed rating the more aggressive the tire looks.
Anyone have any thoughts on these tires.
Thanks,
David Lott

All I know about Kumho is that they come with Enkei tire packages, most of the time. I heard that they are decent tires, but If I were you and you have the extra 40-50 bucks, then you should just get the bridgestones. they are pretty damn good tires. good luck. (Might as well get 19in rims and go all out =)

I surely hope you're not recommending the Bridgestone RE92's

Deepdish, do you still have the OEM tires? From what i understand it's not good to mix-match different types of rubbers. You're probably better off getting the RE92's as replacements just for uniformity or go all out and replace all four tires.

Among others, recommended tires are the Kumho 712's, Sumitomo HTR's, Michelin Pilot Sports and my personal favorite (based on reviews) the Continental ContiExtreme.

Yeah I was thinking about getting 4 new tires, after reading how everyone says how bad the OEM tires are, I however haven't had any probelms with the feel of the drive on them but I also have only had the car for a week and a half.
