Car shakes at 80 mph

I recently had my tires changed and found now that my car tends to shake mildly at 80 mph only. The tires are the same size but are a different brand between the front and the back. Did the techs overtighten the lugs and do I need to check the tire pressure settings? Please advise.

P.S. The car doesn't shake when I brake so I'm pretty sure its not a rotor problem.

Thanks in advance.

I would guess they simply balanced them wrong, but I would re-torque to 80 ft-lbs the first chance you get.

I sometime found my car does that after I change tires... I suggest you take the tires off and remount it again... most of the time it fixs the problem...

Take the car to a shop that has a Hunter9700

Road Force analyzer/balancer....do a search under Hunter 9700 and you will see all that's been written about this wonderful machine...
