v6 camaro vs 00 maxima

My brother just got a V6 camaro 5 speed and i was driving it and it felt pretty qick compared to my car... (i know i only have a 3.0 "sigh" ) but according to stats my car makes more hp but has a tad bit less torque... anyone with experience racing these long *** cars? I know they are heavy after driving it but it feels quicker on freeway... but like i said does anyone have any experience with them from like rolls, stops, and freeway? thanx

Stop staying up all night and being delirious. Most people do say it like that. I just added my own twist.

I use to own a 99 V6 Camaro, it was an automatic and ran mid 15's in the 1/4. A 5 speed will usually run low 15's.

Need to clarify... a V6 Camaro will get owned...

a Z28 or SS will certainly put the hurt down on any Maxima.

My best friend has a modded v6 camaro 5 spd. Since my max is an auto (2k1) he gets a jump on me on takeoff, but I do end up about a car and a half ahead within seconds. The max does even better from a roll.

3800 Camaro's are usually good for mid 15's while the 5speeds are low 15's. The 3400 Camaro's are just *** slow stock, regardless of transmission.

I just trades in my 94 z28 camaro for my 2003 Max one week ago
Camaro was so much faster!
pulling out on the street where I can usually floor it in the same spot all the time I used to hit about 72mph with the z28 to the next small street. I can only hit about 65-66 with the Maxima ... both cars autos

This might be due to the fact that your Max is only one week old. Give her a little while to break in and she'll be fast enough for you.

the SS is a bit quicker then the z28 but not much. With amatched with a Z28 w/ a CAI they are even off the line but at high speed the ss will pull away a bit due to the ram air... and look alot better doing it ... if I might add
