does the TSB cure hood flutter?

as badly as the hood on my '03 SE flutters at freeway speeds it is hard to believe that some of you have no flutter at all! It seems that the TSB for the hood may not be a "miracle cure". Anyone have serious hood flutter that was totally cured by the TSB?

TSB fixed mine. I also raised my hood stops a little.

but I had to take it in twice. First time they put the headlight packs on, second time they used the liquid-weld stuff. That's what worked on mine.

Yes, the whole thing here too, adhesive included. Rubber strips did NOT help.

Worked for me, did it myself. I didn't do the glue stuff.

Still trying to get mine fixed... It's the 4th time at the dealer for this problem.... Adhesive cocking, rubber bumper, and headlight packs were all installed for the fix.. Now they are going to replace the latch for the sec. time to see if it helps....

Mine has been in twice for it

First time it helped a little, but was obviously not fixed completely.

Second time I don't know if they touched it. It still is bad. he was told me the adjusted it as much as they could and that there is no fix for it. It will always do that.

Is this right?

No.. They should fix it.. I'm going to keep taking my car there till they're sick of seeing it till it's fixed...

open the hood and MAKE SURE there is some type of liquid weld (that's what he called it) holding the hood to the support members. If not, they're charging nissan for a fix they're not doing.

also, ask them to take off the insulation and SHOW you the goop they put on. If it's there and the hood still flutters, there's something wrong with the hood and they need to warranty it and get you a new one.
